ELIXIRME VEGAN SMOOTHING TREATMENT APPLICATION PROTOCOL

VEGAN SMOOTHING TREATMENT – FRIZZ & CURL REDUCING SYSTEM:
Wet hair with warm water and shampoo with your favorite Elixirme shampooRinse well. Do not condition or add anything extra onto the hair at this time. Ruffle blow-dry the hair to 80%In a mixing bowl, pour about 3-4oz of active cream (90-120ml) into the bowl and stir, using an application brush. Section hair into 4 quadrants. Starting at the nape area, apply the Smoothing cream onto the hair, section by section, combing each section through well as you work. Keep the product ¼” off the scalp. Comb through each section as you go to ensure good coverage. (Do not oversaturate) Cover the head when completed with a plastic cap and start timing. Wipe any excessive products off from ears and neckline with water & damp towel
Timing:
Fragile, highly bleached/damaged hair: 30 minsFine, tinted, double processed, highlighted or delicate hair: 40minsNormal, Coarse, Strong or Healthy hair: 60 mins
10. Remove cap and rinse well with water only (Do not shampoo).
11. Apply a small amount of Conditioning Cream if hair is tangled and gently work though the complete hair shaft. Comb through to remove all tangles.
12. Rinse conditioner out (Do Not Shampoo)
13. Towel dry excess water.
14. Blow dry the hair smooth and straight using a round or paddle brush until completely dry.
15. Proceed taking 1/2"sections (or smaller) using a flat iron (450°F/230°C) with 8-12 passes on each. NOTE: Reduce iron heat to 375°F on highly bleached or damaged hair

Normal Bleached hair, yes! If it’s highly damaged the decision must be left to the
integrity and opinion of the professional technician. If the hair is at breakage
stage, then the treatment is not recommended.

A- Yes, but recommended to wait 72 hours first. Remember, the sea contains salt which is corrosive and pools contain Chlorine. Both these chemicals are corrosive and may disrupt the
effects of the treatment and your hair in general. If you must swim, rinse well immediately after coming out of the water.
Q- CAN CLIENTS WASH THEIR HAIR AFTER THE TREATMENT, AND IF SO, WHEN?
A- Yes, however, we recommend waiting 72 hours to allow the scalp to recover from all the combing and brushing.
Q- CAN THE TREATMENT BE PERFORMED ON VIRGIN HAIR OR TEENAGERS?
A- Yes, on Virgin hair, but we leave the answer to the teenage question to the advice of their parent or guardian.
Q- CAN THE TREATMENT BE PERFORMED OVER JAPANESE STRAIGHTENERS OR RELAXED HAIR?
A- Yes, but a professional should evaluate the hair condition first and many relaxers and Japanese straighteners can really leave the hair in bad condition.

A- No, this is not a relaxer, this is a anti-frizz and curl reducing treatment.
Q- WHAT PRODUCTS SHOLD BE USED TO MAINTAIN ELIXIRME VEGAN SMOOTHING TREATMENT
A- ELIXIRME Shampoo and conditioner followed by ELIXIRME Heat and Seal leave-in Spray.
